OPEN

Work must be suitably framed with ‘D’ rings and hanging wire as per diagram below. Winning work will be retained by Council for a period of 6 months to be displayed in a prominent place

yOUTH

work must NOT exceed A3 in size and must NOT be framed but should be backed on black card.

*All youth work will be on display at McCain for a period of six months after the CHArts Festival

ALL WORK

  • All work must have been created within the past two years and not have been shown previously No more than 3 entries per artist will be accepted
  • Entries must be the artist’s own work. Where work is the result of a collaborative effort, all contributing parties must be recognised
  • Originals only. No copies of work will be accepted
  • ALL works must include a completed entry slip for easy identification
  • Work may be sold during the exhibition, no commission will be taken
  • Work that does not meet these criteria may not be hung
  • Judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into

All work is entered at the artist’s own risk.

All reasonable care in handling the works submitted will be exercised, but Council will NOT be responsible for loss of or any damage to any work during the exhibition. Artists are advised to insure their work.

IMPORTANT DATES

Entry via Circular Head Council website by 5pm Monday 18 August 2025.

Work must be delivered to pop up gallery (to be advised) between 10am and 5pm on Thursday 21 August or Friday 22 August.
